A Broadcast Journalism honors student at Baylor University, she has on-air experience from her internship at KDRV Newswatch 12, where she covered breaking news and produced content for multiple platforms.
Originally from Los Angeles, Abbey was a multi-sport varsity athlete in high school, competing in tennis, track, and cheerleading. At Baylor, she is a member of the Tri Delta sorority, serving on the Public Relations committee for her chapter and the Honors Residential College.
Her honors thesis examines the barriers women face in broadcast journalism, advocating for better work-life policies.
