A licensed Professional Engineer in California, he previously co-founded and served as CTO for the computer vision startup Lucid. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, specializing in AI, machine learning, and neural networks.
His PhD research in computer vision from Stanford was the core technology behind the LucidCam, one of the worlds first consumer cameras for creating 3D VR content.
