Adrian Waddingham CBE is a co-founder of Barnett Waddingham LLP, the UKs largest independent actuarial firm. A graduate of Royal Holloway with a degree in Computer Science, his distinguished career led to a CBE for services to pensions and serving as a Sheriff of the City of London.

In retirement, Adrian pursued his passion for history, authoring a biography on Nicholas Breakspear, the only English Pope. He is deeply involved in the civic life of London through its historic guilds and supports charitable causes including GAIN (Group for Autism, Insurance, Investment & Neurodiversity) and SeeAbility.

He wrote "Breakspear: The English Pope, " the first major biography in over a century about the only Englishman to have become pope.
