Adrienne Martinez-Hollingsworth, PhD, RN, PHN, WAN

Adrienne Martinez-Hollingsworth is the Director of Research and Evaluation at AltaMeds Institute for Health Equity. A first-generation high school graduate with a PhD from UCLA, she focuses on advancing health equity in safety-net communities, building patient-provider trust, and developing equitable AI partnership models. She is also a National Director for the National Association of Hispanic Nurses.

Describing herself as a health equity activist, she brings her Latina heritages focus on community and family into her scientific work, aiming to break down hierarchical barriers. She enjoys music and values reconnecting with colleagues and alumni from her alma mater, UCLA, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Womens Studies.

As a self-described conceptual theorist, she created "The Burnout Dyad," an innovative model that uses arts-based methods to address healthcare workforce challenges.
