Akash Mehta is an engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded KaizIQ, a WhatsApp-enabled collaboration and task management tool. Leveraging his Masters in Computer Engineering from Boston University and experience at Cerner Corporation, he aims to simplify the workflow for software engineers by reducing reporting and management overhead.
Outside of his entrepreneurial ventures, Akash is a self-described cat and plant parent. He balances the demands of his startup with personal interests, finding solutions for caring for his pets and plants, especially when away from home.
During his research at Boston University, he developed a path-planning algorithm called Ant Hill Search (AHS) that performed 20 times faster than RRT in certain tests.
