He is the founder of both the Western Canada Economic Forum and Artificial Intelligence Saskatchewan (AiSK), driving growth and innovation across the region. He also serves as the British Honorary Consul to Saskatchewan and holds a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oxford.
Outside of his primary roles, Alex is a published author, poet, and playwright, with his first book, "All I Have is Words, " released in 2023. He is a recognized community volunteer, having worked with organizations like Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the YMCA, for which he received the Sovereigns Medal for Volunteers.
Unique fact: Alex sold the first-ever piece of AI-generated art in Saskatchewan, merging his passions for technology and the creative arts.
