A University of Rhode Island graduate, she is dedicated to empowering veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs through mentorship and high-touch incubator programs.
As a military spouse, Alexas work is deeply personal. She was inspired to co-found her nonprofit after witnessing her husbands challenging transition from his deployment in Afghanistan. She is passionate about bridging the gap between at-risk veterans and the resources available to them.
Her nonprofit, Backpacks For Life, has distributed over 11, 000 backpacks filled with essentials to veterans across 35 states.
