Alexys Mathis

Alexys is the Mentor Network Operations Manager at Capital Factory, where she leverages her background as a licensed attorney to manage Texass largest startup mentor network. A University of Houston Law Center graduate, she focuses on enhancing founder-mentor connections and streamlining operational processes. Her expertise includes project planning, strategy, and event curation, supported by certifications as a Scrum Master and Product Owner.

Outside of work, Alexys is deeply committed to community building and supporting underrepresented groups, a passion she pursued during law school as a leader in the Black Law Students Association. She shows a keen interest in technological innovation, from new fitness technology to collaborative tech hubs, and enjoys traveling for professional events.

Unique fact: Alexys was a decorated oral advocate in law school, winning first place as a Negotiation Champion in a national competition.
