Ameet Talwalkar
Login to view DISC.Ameet Talwalkar is the Chief Scientist at Datadog and an Associate Professor in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University. He specializes in machine learning systems, co-founded Determined AI (acquired by HPE), and co-authored the textbook "Foundations of Machine Learning. " He earned his PhD from New York University.
He is passionate about advancing AI research and fostering the next generation of talent. He credits his postdoc experience at Berkeleys AMPLab as transformational and advocates for funding similar collaborative research environments. He is also a co-founder of the MLSys conference, dedicated to research at the intersection of systems and machine learning.
