Dr. Fabbo is deeply involved in improving dementia care beyond his clinical roles, collaborating with caregiver associations like Alzheimer Emilia-Romagna and the European Interdem Group. He has also been a consultant for regional government dementia projects and is the Vice President of the Italian Society of Geriatrics for Hospitals and Territories (SIGOT).
He is the co-author of the book "Acute Geriatric Care: From Hospital to Territorial Charge," focusing on critically ill geriatric patients.
