Andrew G.

Andrew Gritsevskiy is the Director of Alignment Research at Cavendish Labs, a research nonprofit he co-founded. He holds a degree from the University of Toronto in mathematics and computer science and has conducted research with MIT, Harvard, and UCLA. His work focuses on addressing large-scale threats from AI and pandemics.

Outside of his primary research, Andrew is an adventurer who enjoys hiking, skiing, and puzzle hunts. He is a creative individual who has co-written a musical and also engages in unique hobbies like making cheese and running gravity chess tournaments.
