Andrew Pareles is the Co-Founder and CEO of Void (YC S24), an open-source AI code editor. A Cornell University graduate with a background in Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics, he has a history of deep-tech research, including leading projects on quantum algorithms at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
Outside of his professional work, Andrew has a keen interest in music and analytical challenges, having played in the Cornell Wind Symphony and competed in puzzle tournaments during his university years. He is a strong advocate for open-source development and giving developers full control over their tools.
He has been programming with his co-founder and best friend, Mathew Pareles, since they were eight years old.
