Anna Bullus is the founder and director of Gumdrop Ltd, the worlds first company to recycle chewing gum. With a background in Three Dimensional Design from the University of Brighton, she developed Gum-tec®, a sustainable material created from waste gum, pioneering a closed-loop recycling system.
Driven by a passion for using design to solve environmental problems, Anna was inspired to find a solution for the pervasive issue of gum litter on streets. Her work focuses on transforming waste into valuable new products and promoting sustainable habits within communities and corporations.
Unique fact: Anna spent three years researching and developing the process to recycle chewing gum after noticing how much of it was stuck to pavements.
