Ariadna is an incoming freshman at Columbia University and a decorated scholar, recognized as a Horatio Alger Association NY State Scholar and a QuestBridge NCM Recipient. She is pursuing a BA with a deep interest in biology, substantiated by her internship experience at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and participation in the Yale Young Global Scholars program.
A Dominican-American, Ariadna is driven by a profound desire to improve the lives of young patients suffering from musculoskeletal cancers. This passion fuels her future aspirations in medicine. She has also demonstrated a commitment to her community by volunteering as a student aide at her former middle school, assisting students and organizing school resources.
She aspires to become a Pediatric Orthopedic Oncologist to improve the quality of life for children with cancer.
