Ashish is the Founder-CEO of The Convergence Foundation, applying his background as co-founder of private equity firm ChrysCapital to the social sector. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School, he focuses on building scalable institutions to accelerate India’s economic growth and solve complex developmental challenges.
Outside of work, Ashish is an avid reader who believes in distancing himself from noise to generate unique insights. Colleagues describe him as embodying a "work hard, play hard" attitude, being both intensely focused and the energetic center of social gatherings. He intentionally avoids social media.
At the peak of his investing career, he left his firm at age 43 to begin a "second career" dedicated entirely to philanthropy and institution building in India.
