Bill Allen

Bill Allen is the Chief Executive Officer of Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust Co. , a locally owned community bank in Lexington. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BBA, he has an extensive background in banking, previously serving as President of the bank and as a District Manager at Bank One.

Outside of his executive role, Bill is a former college athlete, having played football for the University of Kentucky after a standout high school career. He maintains a strong connection to the local Lexington community and high school football, balancing his professional commitments with his personal passion for the sport.

Unique fact: Bill was a record-setting, All-State quarterback in high school, finishing his career as Kentuckys all-time leader in passing yards in 1983.
