Brian Kemnitz
Brian Kemnitz is the Electric Business Development Manager at NorthWestern Energy, focusing on growth from data centers and agro-industrial projects. A civil engineer with degrees from South Dakota Mines, he has held progressive construction and operations management roles since 2013 and recently participated in the Leadership South Dakota program.
Outside of his professional life, Brian is a fifth-generation South Dakota rancher with a deep, practical knowledge of the cattle industry. He is a former college football player, having played for his alma mater, the South Dakota School of Mines, where he earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees.
He originally pursued civil engineering with the dream of building bridges before finding his passion in the energy sector.
