Burak Batuhan Karakus is the Executive Director of Human Rights Solidarity, specializing in transnational repression and sanctions policy. An international human rights lawyer with an MSc from LSE, his work bridges policy, litigation support, and public education to drive rule-of-law accountability.
Outside of his legal practice, Burak is engaged with the intersection of culture and community. He has a background in creative communications and has managed community-engagement projects, showing a hands-on approach to connecting with people on important issues.
He was a Change the Word Poetry Fellow at the Good Chance Theatre.
