Carolyn Van Den Heuvel is the Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture (NSFA), where she provides strategic leadership and advocacy for farmers. She became the federations first female Executive Director in 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
Growing up on a beef farm in Antigonish, her passion for the industry was cemented early on. Carolyn is a proud 4-H alum, crediting the program with shaping her confidence and the professional skills she uses daily in her leadership role at the NSFA.
She recently received the Young Alum Achievement Award from her alma mater, recognizing her significant contributions to the agricultural industry.
