Carter Malcolm

Carter Malcolm is the co-founder and CEO of Constructive Eating, a company creating innovative tableware for children. An engineer with a degree from the University of Michigan, he personally designed the initial products in his home basement and has grown the business with a focus on American manufacturing and local sourcing.

Carter is a family-oriented entrepreneur who co-founded the business with his wife, Jackie. The inspiration for their company came directly from a personal challenge: finding a creative way to engage their picky-eating, construction-loving son during meals. They are based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Unique fact: The companys first products were designed after Carter saw his toddler son using a toy bulldozer to play with his breakfast cereal on the floor.
