Charlotte Shyllon is the Chief Executive Officer of CYTE, bringing over 30 years of experience in strategic communications within the corporate and charity sectors. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, she has held senior roles at FleishmanHillard and the Thrombosis Research Institute, and holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Brighton.
Outside of her corporate role, Charlotte is a published author and poet who founded The Transforming Words Foundation, a charity that uses storytelling to drive social change. She actively champions diversity and inclusion, particularly through initiatives addressing racial discrimination, and serves as a judge for industry awards.
She founded and runs the annual #BlackinWhite Poetry Competition to illuminate race-related issues.
