Chipewyan “Chip” McCrimmon is a Dené entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Bird & McCrimmon, an Indigenous-owned consulting firm focused on climate tech. A serial founder with a Masters in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Queens University, he previously co-founded and exited a biotech startup, raising $1. 75M in venture capital.

Deeply connected to his heritage, Chip is a semi-professional visual artist whose work is influenced by his culture and focuses on environmental themes.
