Chris Van Meerveld

Chris van Meerveld balances his role as a Project Leader at Leger des Heils Midden-Nederland with being the entrepreneurial co-owner of Edough Desserts & Patisserie. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Groningen, applying his skills to both social care projects and his innovative food business.

His passion for the culinary arts is evident through his dessert company. He actively follows major food service wholesalers like Bidfood and Sligro, demonstrating a deep engagement with the industry that his business operates in, beyond just day-to-day ownership.

His companys product, "The French Sunset, " won the prestigious Horecava Innovation Award in 2023.
