He focuses on upholding the brands 150-year legacy while driving its global strategy and connecting with new consumers. Claudio previously had a successful career in medicine before rejoining his familys business to relaunch the brand.

He is passionate about preserving the Cuban heritage of Matusalem, even with production now based in the Dominican Republic. His work centers on brand storytelling, emphasizing the unique Solera aging process and the rums historical significance as the "Cognac of Rums. "

Unique fact: He left his own medical practice to lead the relaunch of his familys 150-year-old rum company after decades of legal disputes.
