Clyde Simms is a former professional soccer player with a nine-year MLS career, primarily with D. C. United and the New England Revolution. After retiring, he co-founded Revd Indoor Cycling, a boutique fitness studio. He leverages his background as a team captain at East Carolina University and a pro athlete to foster a community-driven, high-energy fitness experience.
Outside of his business, Clyde remains deeply connected to soccer and is passionate about building community through wellness. He co-owns Revd with his business partner, Meaghan, and as an entrepreneur, he has participated in panels discussing equity in business ownership. His experience has cultivated a strong sense of resilience, which he translates into his training philosophy.
His retirement from professional soccer was prompted by a kidney disease he had managed since high school, a personal challenge that inspired his transition to entrepreneurship.
