Colin McMaster

Colin McMaster is a London-based artist, originally from Belfast, who graduated from Central St. Martins. His work is heavily influenced by the Pop Art movement and has been shown at international art fairs in London, New York, and Miami. His pieces are held in various corporate and hotel collections.

McMasters art explores stereotypes over individuals, blending the melodrama of romantic comics with the sinister undertones of American film noir and pulp novels. His subjects are often depicted as mannequin-like figures, creating a sense of artifice and compelling the viewer to interpret the ambiguous, illicit scenes presented.

His paintings have been displayed in unique settings beyond galleries, including Selfridges window displays, Richard James Savile Row, and Heals Department Store.
