Daniel Driffin is a public health expert and the co-founder of THRIVE SS, Inc. , an organization supporting Black gay men living with HIV. Holding a Master of Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine and a Doctorate in Public Health from Georgia State University, he focuses on community-driven solutions to improve health outcomes for marginalized communities.
As a passionate social justice advocate, he dedicates significant time to national and international volunteer work. He is Chair Emeritus of The Young Black Gay Men’s Leadership Initiative, where he focuses on educating and mentoring at-risk youth to become future leaders in public health and advocacy.
He was the first openly HIV-positive person to speak at the Democratic National Convention in 16 years.
