Outside of his professional life, Daniel emphasizes the importance of personal health, fitness, and rest to maintain clarity and productivity. He is passionate about health, wellness, and sustainability, believing that mindful consumption choices can create a positive impact on the planet. He is also of Mexican descent on his mothers side and grew up speaking both English and Spanish.
He received the Outstanding Young Mechanical Engineer award from his alma mater, The University of Texas at Austin.
