David Hampson
Commander · DISC type DDavid Hampson is the President of Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance Group, an author, and a board member with deep expertise in aviation risk management. An instrument-rated commercial pilot, he holds CPCU, ARM, and CAIP designations. His career began unconventionally, starting with restaurant ownership in South Africa before co-founding his nationally recognized insurance firm.
Outside of work, David is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship as a fulfilling journey, a theme central to his book, "Rainbow Gold". He lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with his family and volunteers as a pilot for the non-profit "Above the Clouds," which introduces children to aviation.
He regularly flies his own Cirrus SR22T aircraft to visit clients and attend industry events around the country.
