Douglas Shumway

Douglas Shumway is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of the home furnishings brand Thuma. He has guided the companys product and supply chain strategy since its inception, building on his previous experience in sales and growth management at Worldwide Express and Shyp. He attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.

Before co-founding Thuma, Douglas had a background in sports management, working as an Assistant Quarterback Coach for the football team at his alma mater, California Polytechnic State University. This experience highlights a diverse skill set that spans coaching, sales, and product leadership.

Unique Fact: He transitioned from coaching college football to co-founding a major direct-to-consumer lifestyle brand.
