Edward Magee is a Superintendent at EverGreene Architectural Arts, a firm specializing in historic restoration. He has supervised significant projects, including reconditioning work at the Murphy Theatre and analyzing original paint schemes at the Illinois State Capitol, emphasizing the importance of doing the job right.
While on long-term projects away from home, Edward shows an appreciation for local culture. During a job in Lima, Ohio, he grew quite fond of the iconic Kewpee Hamburgers restaurant, a local institution he passed daily.
He was responsible for the restoration of the locally famous Kewpee doll, a beloved piece of Americana, and created a fiberglass replica for display.
