Elizabeth Brown is the President and CEO of YWCA Columbus, leveraging extensive experience from her seven years on the Columbus City Council. A magna cum laude graduate of Columbia University, she is a recognized advocate for Columbus families, focusing on economic prosperity, gender equity, and racial justice in her leadership roles.
Outside of work, Elizabeth is a mother to three children. She is passionate about building a strong community and has previously served on the board of The Center for Balanced Living, a mental health treatment center specializing in eating disorders. She enjoys connecting with residents and neighborhoods throughout Columbus.
Interesting fact: In 2015, Elizabeth made history as the youngest woman ever elected to the Columbus City Council.
