Emilia Bran is a multifaceted podiatrist, serving as an Associate Lecturer at QUT and a clinician at her private practice. She holds a Masters in Theories of Podiatric Surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University and is currently a surgical registrar with the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons, specializing in high-risk foot management and wound care.
Outside of her clinical and academic roles, Emilia is a passionate advocate for mentorship, particularly for women entering podiatric surgery. She balances her demanding surgical training with her family life and has two young children. Originally from El Salvador, she also speaks Spanish and is passionate about diversity within her profession.
