Fabian Picardo is the Chief Minister of Gibraltar and Leader of the Gibraltar Socialist Labour Party. A graduate in Jurisprudence from Oriel College, Oxford, he was a partner at Hassans law firm before entering government. He has led his party to four consecutive election victories since first becoming Chief Minister in 2011.
He is married with three children and has a strong connection to Spain through his grandmother, expressing great affection for the Spanish people and culture. A committed socialist, he believes in using his legal and political abilities to serve the community of Gibraltar, a principle that has guided his career.
