Frank Florian
Login to view DISC.Frank Florian is a long-serving leader at the TELUS World of Science - Edmonton, currently as Senior Manager for Planetarium and Space Sciences. An alumnus of the University of Alberta, he is the citys go-to media expert on astronomical events and directs all space and astronomy science areas for the center.
A passionate astronomer both professionally and personally, Franks favorite activity is looking through the eyepiece of one of his many telescopes. He frequently escapes the citys light pollution for better stargazing and is considered the heart of Edmontons community astronomy scene.
Frank led the project to transform the science centers planetarium into the Zeidler Dome, which became the worlds first 10K resolution planetarium theatre.
