Garreth O'Doherty

Garreth ODoherty is the Chief Innovation Officer and Associate Director at Standard Control Systems. A graduate of Technological University Dublin with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he has spent his entire career with the company, progressing year-on-year since joining straight out of college.

During his university studies, Garreth was a key member of the FormulaDIT team. He participated in the design and construction of a single-seat race car that competed at the renowned Silverstone F1 track, reflecting a deep-seated passion for hands-on engineering and motorsports.

He competed in the worlds largest student motorsport competition, Formula Student, as part of his universitys race team.
