A U.S. Navy veteran and Purdue University engineering graduate, he previously spent 25 years at AMSEC LLC, rising to President and CEO and overseeing its growth from $42M to over $460M in revenue before founding Valkyrie in 2007.
Outside of his extensive corporate leadership, Gary is involved in community philanthropy. His company has supported local organizations, including St. Marys Home, which provides care for children and young adults with severe disabilities. This reflects a commitment to supporting the Hampton Roads community.
After leading AMSEC to become a large corporation, he founded Valkyrie specifically to return to a more personal, small-business environment.
