Gavin Boyle

He has over 36 years of NHS service, including 18 years at the Chief Executive level for various trusts. He holds a degree from the University of Birmingham and completed a leadership development program at Harvard Business School.
Outside of work, Gavin lives in Sheffield and is passionate about improving health outcomes and tackling inequalities within the community. He has been recognized for his strong and compassionate leadership, particularly for his support of NHS staff during the pandemic. Recent reports indicate he plans to retire in late 2025.
He began his distinguished NHS career over three decades ago as a general management trainee in Liverpool.
