Gregory Davis

He has been instrumental in the development and commercialization of three major genome editing technologies: ZFNs, CRISPR, and RNA-guided retrotransposons. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma.
Outside of his direct research, Gregory shows a deep appreciation for the people who have shaped his career. He has publicly expressed immense gratitude for his Ph.D. advisor, highlighting the importance of mentorship in science and staying connected to foundational scientific principles.
He played a key role in launching the worlds first commercial genome editing tools for human somatic cell research.
