Gus Fraser

Angus "Gus" Fraser is a celebrated figure at Middlesex, having excelled as a player, captain, and Managing Director of Cricket. A former England fast bowler with 177 Test wickets, he transitioned into sports administration and journalism. He now serves as Managing Director of the clubs charitable arm, Middlesex In The Community, continuing his lifelong association with the county.

Outside of his formal roles, Gus is deeply embedded in the cricket world, working as a media pundit for outlets like the BBC and Sky Sports. His passion extends to the grassroots level, where he is the Chairman of Stanmore Cricket Club, the club he played for as a youth. He is also a supporter of Wealdstone Football Club.

Fraser was named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1996, one of the sports most prestigious honors, for his performances on the field.
