Holly is the Director of Product Design at Nelnet, with a history of executing high-impact design initiatives. She led a national menu redesign for IHOP that quadrupled burger sales and spearheaded the launch of Oneida Cookware. She holds a B. F. A. from the University of Central Missouri and speaks on the financial impact of design.
Outside of work, Holly is a Certified Peer Counselor volunteer with Empower Work, an organization that supports people through difficult workplace issues. She has a lifelong passion for creativity, which began in childhood with intricate crafts and evolved throughout her career. She transitioned to freelance work for a time after becoming a parent.
As a child, she fell in love with making elaborate "Pen Pal" dolls out of embroidery thread and pens, designing custom outfits and hairstyles for each one.
