Ishita Jain is a New York-based illustrator, designer, and author who creates work for clients like The New York Times and Sephora. An alumna of the National Institute of Design and the School of Visual Arts (SVA), she also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at SVA.
Originally from Delhi, India, Ishita finds inspiration in nature, day-to-day moments, and shimmering light. After moving to NYC, she found solace in the citys parks and green spaces, which became a central theme in her work and led to her book, "Searching For Sunshine. "
She specializes in drawing on location to document the people, places, and stories that surround her.
