J. D. Lauritzen

J. D. Lauritzen is a seasoned corporate counsel specializing in the cannabis industry, having served as Head of Legal, Compliance & Government Affairs for WholesomeCo. A graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law, he co-founded the Cannabis Law Section of the Utah State Bar and was appointed to Utahs Medical Cannabis Policy Advisory Board.

Originally from Salt Lake City, J. D. was a collegiate athlete, playing football for Colorado Mesa University during his undergraduate years. He has shown a long-standing interest in the intersection of law and cannabis, dating back to a paper he wrote on the topic during his freshman year of college.
