James Archer

James Archer is a member of BGFs portfolio team, leveraging his extensive background from PwCs restructuring and corporate finance divisions. He holds an ACA qualification with first-time passes and a Bachelors degree in Economics from The University of Manchester, specializing in supporting and managing growth investments.

Demonstrating a commitment to community engagement, James recently volunteered for the BGF Foundation, mentoring young entrepreneurs in a "Dragons Den" style competition for Social Enterprise Schools. He also has an interest in the work of international relief charities.

In July 2024, James participated as a mentor for the Social Enterprise Academy, supporting 31 schools and over 280 young people.
