James Davies

With a background in accounting and finance, he has deep expertise in structuring and financing complex maritime projects. He co-founded Inocea Group, which acquired and rejuvenated Davie in 2012, transforming it into a key partner in Canadas National Shipbuilding Strategy.
His passion for mechanics began in his youth, working on boat engines on the Thames and restoring steam engines at a local industrial museum. This interest has evolved into a hobby of restoring classic and antique cars and motorcycles, including a 1971 Pontiac Firebird race car.
He has led Davie in acquiring Finlands Helsinki Shipyard, creating a world leader in Arctic shipbuilding.
