Jane Bugbee

Jane Bugbee is the Vice President and a founding member of American Mussel Harvesters, Inc. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, she was instrumental in establishing the boat-based harvesting business in the 1980s and growing it into one of North Americas largest mussel producers.

Jane has been a pivotal figure in the companys development, from its early days on the piers of Galilee, Rhode Island, to its current position as a leader in sustainable aquaculture. Her career reflects a deep, long-standing commitment to the shellfish industry and the multi-generational company she helped build.

She helped co-found American Mussel Harvesters in 1987, playing a key role in its expansion.
