Jared Rashford

Jared Rashford is the President of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School, bringing over 25 years of experience as an administrator and educator. He holds a PhD in Teaching and Learning from Georgia State University, a Masters from Wake Forest, and a Bachelors from Duke University. He focuses on long-range planning, community relationships, and financial management.

Outside of his professional role, Jared is a family man with a wife, Amanda, and five children, three of whom have attended Bishop McGuinness. He is an active parishioner at St. Paul the Apostle in Greensboro and has lived in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Missouri in addition to North Carolina, reflecting a geographically diverse personal history.

He has published research on using 18th-century German philosophy (Hans-Georg Gadamers hermeneutics) as a framework for teaching science concepts to students.
