Jason Comandante
As SVP, Head of Canada for Capital Power, Jason Comandante leads the optimization and decarbonization of the company’s Canadian assets, a role hes grown into since joining in 2001. He is responsible for executing development, acquisition opportunities, and investing in decarbonization technologies. He holds an MBA from the University of Calgary.
Jason is deeply engaged in community and industry leadership, serving on boards for the Association of Power Producers of Ontario and the Business Council of Alberta. He hosts the "Resonance" podcast, exploring Indigenous economic development and ethical partnerships, reflecting a strong commitment to reconciliation and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
He hosts a podcast called "Resonance" focused on conversations with Indigenous leaders about resource development and economic opportunities.
