Jennifer Doherty, MIRHR

Jennifer Doherty is the founder of ProvenHR, providing fractional HR leadership to startups and growing businesses, particularly in Prince Edward Island. With a Masters degree from the University of Toronto, she helps founders navigate HR complexities so they can focus on growth. Colleagues describe her as trustworthy, direct, and an invaluable problem-solver.

Jennifer co-hosts the "Just JKing" HR podcast. She previously left a corporate career in Toronto to pursue a simpler life, co-founding Fleece & Harmony, a PEI-based farm and wool mill with its own flock of sheep. This entrepreneurial experience gives her a unique perspective on the challenges business owners face.

After a successful corporate HR career, she moved to PEI, bought a farm, and started a yarn manufacturing business before launching her current consultancy.
