Jennifer Hofer is the History Librarian at the University of Florida, where she also earned her bachelors degree in History and Classics. Holding an MLIS from the University of South Florida, her professional work focuses on digital humanities, open educational resources, and scholarly communication. She has co-edited an anthology on the future of humanities in libraries.
She is passionate about her role, viewing it as "coming full circle" from being an undergraduate at the University of Florida to now guiding students in the same program. She actively participates in library initiatives that foster community and inclusion, such as the award-nominated "Books and Boba Project."
Jennifer leads a project teaching students to research and create digital exhibits from a rare collection of 19th and 20th-century almanacs.
